Ready, set, go! If you’re a fierce competitor and have a friend, spouse, co-worker or roommate with the same quality, you just might have the chance to pack your bags for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. “The Amazing Race” is on Thursday, July 12 at K1 Speed (8034 Midway Dr.) in Littleton. Teams may begin lining up at 9 a.m., with auditions starting at 11 a.m.

The first 200 teams in line will have the opportunity to audition on camera. No application forms necessary. You just need to bring a teammate (duh!) and any props needed to express why your duo is aÌýperfect fit for the show.
Be prepared, as each team will only have one minute to express their creativity.Ìý A signed release form will be required.
SaveÌýtime by bringing a printed release form for each person with you.Ìý. You can also or just show up the day of the event.
About the Open Call:
All contestants must be U.S. citizens, living in the US and 18 years or older at the time of application. Producers are looking for a diverse group of men and women who represent a broad cross-section of American society.
Competitors will be judged based on having the following traits: strong-willed; outgoing; adventurous; physically and mentally adept; adaptable to new environments; interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities.
If selected as a semi-finalist, candidates will be invited for final interviews with Amazing RaceÌýproducers.
The prize for the competition is $1,000,000, but money will not come easily. Competitors must be willing to commit to traveling to remote locations for approximately fourÌýweeks.
Contestants will be filmed up to 24 hours a day by television camera crews to beÌýbroadcast on national television. They will be traveling to differentÌýcountries competing in challenges against other teams under sometimes difficult and unfamiliarÌýconditions.
