On April 2, all Coloradans became eligible to receive a vaccination against Covid-19. While we aren’t going to take a deep dive into the many places to receive a vaccine, the city and county of Denver recently sent out some really helpful information. We thought we’d share some of the highlights (along with some of our own tips) as they can help those who are home-bound or have limited access to transportation.
Be patient
The expanded eligibility is great news for anyone who has been waiting, but people will need to have patience as appointments fill up quickly.
If you are comfortable using Facebook, . There is tons of advice on how and where to get a vaccine and oodles of volunteers willing to help those who are having trouble navigating the system.
Remember that only the Pfizer vaccine is currently authorized for residents ages 16 to 18.
You can sign up to receive the vaccine at any provider, regardless of insurance. Vaccines are totally FREE!

Are you over 18 and can’t leave your home? Denver has mobile units that will bring the vaccine to you.
