The goes on a “Road Trip” with a concert on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts, located in Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church. This lively and imaginative performance transforms the concert hall into an open highway, complete with a charismatic radio DJ guiding the journey. Admission is free; a suggested donation of $10 is appreciated.

Audiences will travel across the United States through music that celebrates iconic cities, states, and landmarks all from the comfort of their seats.
Serving as your on-air host for the evening is the ever-entertaining DJ (moonlighting as a saxophonist) Charlie Cournoyer, broadcasting 鈥渓ive鈥 on his Radio Show, 鈥淐ruisin鈥 with Charlie鈥.
With humor, charm, and a perfectly curated playlist, Charlie will lead listeners from one destination to the next, creating the feeling of a classic American road trip with windows down, music up, and endless miles ahead.
The program features a vibrant mix of beloved favorites and Americana-inspired works, including classics like 鈥淣ew York, New York鈥 and 鈥淥klahoma!鈥, alongside other musical tributes to destinations across the country.
Each piece captures the unique spirit and energy of its location, offering something familiar, nostalgic, and exciting for every audience member.
The Golden Eagle Concert Band is a volunteer community band, consisting of all ages and backgrounds. Entertaining audiences since 1977, the group celebrates the tradition of the American Concert Band while incorporating more contemporary works from popular culture and more.
