The Denver Theatre District is about to get even brighter with the addition of , a permanent projection mapping installation. Night Lights projects artwork and other content onto the Arapahoe Street side of the Daniels & Fisher Tower every Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening. The installation will include content that rotates on a monthly basis, designed by artists and the Denver community.

Initially, content will include art commissions and ambient programming with a plan to expand to civic programming, open projector nights, cultural showcases and performances, and interactive programming where the community and passersby can control content to project on the Tower.
On opening weekend (November 7, 8 & 9), content will begin 30 minutes after sunset. The launch content includes an opening animation designed by Limelight Art; an artwork designed by Denver-based artist Joel Swanson; and an artwork designed by Denver-based artist Sofie Birkin, with supporting animation by Vincent Comparetto. Swanson鈥檚 and Birkin鈥檚 content will run on a loop with a countdown between each segment. The last segment will run at 8:15 p.m., closing with Limelight Art鈥檚 animation.

鈥淥ur vision for this project is that Night Lights Denver truly becomes 鈥榯he people鈥檚 projector,鈥 encouraging Denver to participate and contribute 鈥搃ncluding the international, national and locally-based artists we pay for commissioned artworks, schools and people walking through the district.鈥
