The area’s largest celebration of the Chinese New Year is Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at George Washington High School. More than 2,000 people attend the coordinated by the Denver Chinese School and the Chinese American Foundation of Colorado. Highlight of the festival is a two-hour cultural and entertainment show by national and international artists.

The Cultural Fair, Taste of China and Marketplace are FREE. and run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of Chinese and Asian Pacific booths including cultural exhibits, artwork and crafts, food stands and more.

There are games for the kiddos and demonstrations such as calligraphy.

Tickets are $25 (Golden Circle $50) to the Celebration Show from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It features acrobats, magic, dance, opera, music, martial arts and a children’s choir. You can .

For 10+ years, the Asian-Pacific Association of Longmont has staged an amazing . This year is no different with the Year of the Horse feted on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Silver Creek High School. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., with the Lion Dance and other performances, as well as booths and food samplings, starting at 2 p.m. In addition, enjoy cultural games and hands-on activities.

Guests of all ages are welcome to explore activity booths – featuring Chinese brush painting, origami, paper cutting and much more – and participate in a variety of cultural games.

Food samplings will also be offered, from egg rolls to orange chicken, steamed broccoli to fried sesame rice balls.

Truong An Gifts & Far East Center officially for two days. This year, it’s Saturday & Sunday, January 28 & 29, 2023. Festivities take place in front of the Denver store. But, starting January 14 they hold a Street Market Fair in front in the parking lot (weather permitting). Through January 21 stop in and shop for your Lunar New Year decorations. They stock special flowers, plants, fruits, decorations, red envelopes and much more.

All groups on both days will perform Dragon and Lion dances, firecrackers, and martial arts.
