Many people don’t realize that their food comes from a farm or that it just doesn’t appear in their local market. in Platteville is out to change that and show folks of all ages what happens on a real working farm. Miller Farms photo

The fall festival gives everyone the opportunity to not only explore the farm, but to also pick their own veggies!

Take a hayride through 180 acres of fields where you can pick your own vegetables — potatoes, carrots, onions, beets, Indian corn, squash, peppers and pumpkins. Not only is it fun, but educational as you put your hands into the dirt and pick fresh produce.

Cost of general admission allows each person to pick up to four (4) bags of produce each

Besides the hayride that takes you to the fields to harvest, there are tons of other activities for you and the kids.

There’s a giant “Croc-pit” (imagine thousands and thousands of chopped-up Crocs in a giant pile-o-fun), corn maze, play areas, antique tractors, peddle tractors, a hay pyramid, and a collection of oddities and activities.

There are snacks, drinks and other treats for sale.

Open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

2025 Admission Prices: Everyone (11+) is $28 per person. Children (5-10) are $18 per person. Groups of 10+ are $25 per person. Children 4 and younger are FREE. Includes 4 bags per person to fill with produce.

Stack one of the wagons for only $50. Fill your wagon with pumpkins, winter squash, potatoes, onions and other fall veggies.

13912 CR 19, Platteville, 970-785-6133.

The pumpkin patch is accessible during Pumpkin Festival October 10, 11 and 12.
