The one-day event features a $1.5 million Incentive Fund. Every nonprofit receiving a donation on Colorado Gives Day receives a portion of the fund, increasing the value of every dollar donated. Colorado Gives Day has grown to be the state’s largest one-day online giving event, raising more than $217 million — since it began in 2010.
And, today, Tuesday, December 10, the Denver Zoo is offering a wildly fun incentive to donate to their cause of “securing a better world for animals through human understanding.”
A suggested donation of $10 will earn you FREE admission to the very popular family-friendly attraction. The offer is only valid for admission today.
Your donation receipt is your admission coupon, valid for one complimentary admission for each donation. As a result, if you’re going with a group of friends or family, each person will need to make separate donation for entry.
The offer is only valid for a Colorado Gives Day donation to the Denver Zoo — not any other organization. (Plus, the offer is not valid for admission to Zoo Lights.)
