When I got a digital key tag last year, I found redeeming it disabled all other offers on the app for a while (one or more hours), so I stopped using it and returned to using my physical key tag. In dozens of uses last year, and hundreds of uses in the past decade (Wendy’s used to have a free offer with purchase the day after a Denver Nuggets scored a double double), I have never been refused redemption of a physical key tag in conjunction with using another offer (with competition and many offers in fast food, I rarely pay regular price in the first place), even when placing my order at the counter claiming another offer; now I usually present it when I pick up my order that I placed through the app to use an offer. Wendy’s staff is well trained to honor a physical key tag.
